We remember liking the Omelette station, the Garden salad ingredients, all fresh and nicely cut, and the Raw Salmon. Our previous meal was sometime around 2019. I should also mention that we have enjoyed previous buffet meals at the Casino over many years. Let me open my comments telling you that it was a pretty disappointing experience. We arrived at 12:45pm, and sat at Table 32. On Easter day 2023, my wife and I tried the Easter Brunch. Except for reservations screwing up our room. Maybe when all of the restaurants are open I can give a positive review of dining. There is a nice assortment of slot machines in the casino and I could actually play and win a little, but we both eventually lost. The patio is nice off if the hot tub and pool with the fire pit. I like that you can actually open a window. No premium channels on the tv Pro’s: The rooms have been upgraded and are beautiful. There aren’t any good restaurants during the week open. I couldn’t figure out how to just turn it off. The room light switches have been upgraded and are confusing and hard to see. I’ll start with the Con’s Cons: My wife booked our room June 4th over the phone and was promised a first floor room with a patio for our 43rd wedding anniversary, when we checked in August 9th we were told they were sold out and should of booked online. The temperature in the casino was pretty cool so dress accordingly. The slots were tight but got a win here and there. It had been 2 years since our last stay and there are a lot of new slot machines. Being non smokers we liked the fact that the hotel is now 100% smoke free and right now the casino is the same. We liked the push button blinds and curtain opener, the motion detector mirror in the bathroom and the added microwave among other things. We found the staff at the hotel and casino to be friendly and very helpful. They give you a buzzer so you can play slots while you wait. There was some wait time for a table at Legends so if you want to eat there go a little early. Legends and Central deli/Slice had great food and many choices. Disappointed that Isabellas, Water Lilly, Aurora and the pool are still closed but understand. The fears we had due to COVID were put to ease when we saw first hand the measures that have been taken to keep people safe. All our request were met and the room was ready at 11:00 am. We had a wonderful experience from check in to check out.
